It's Official!

We are excited to announce that we are indeed expecting a little addition to our family. Bean should arrive around July 26th. Julie is doing well and we are both working hard to prepare to welcome the addition into the home.

Ice Caves

This past weekend after work Tyson and Julie drove out to the Ice Caves north of Rexburg. It was a very nice and relaxing drive until we got to the dirt road and bounced around the car for a few miles. Once there we were told that to get to the end of the cave you would have to go through water about six inches deep. Well with the ice underneath the water had to have been close to the mid 30's in temperature. About 300 Yards into the cave we hit water. Not about to get wet we took a few pictures and then drove home. Over all we had a great time together and look forward to going back to the caves closer to the winter when the ice should be more solid.

Mesa Falls

Monday July 20th both Julie and Tyson had the day off of work and chose to spend some time in the mountains. We drove up Mesa Falls and took some great pictures of the lower falls and then wanted to see what the upper falls looked like. Getting up there we found out that it was $5 to park in the parking lot. We were excited to see what must be so great as to charge people to park. SO we get down there and were severely disappointed as it was just a water fall. After that bummer we asked the park lady if there were any trails to hike from the parking lot and she informed us that we could hike down to the Lower Falls and even down to the bottom of it. While hiking we came across what we thought was a gummy treat in this bush. It was an actual berry stuck to the branch. It was a great hike and a wonderful day out in the great wilderness.
