This past weekend after work Tyson and Julie drove out to the Ice Caves north of Rexburg. It was a very nice and relaxing drive until we got to the dirt road and bounced around the car for a few miles.

Once there we were told that to get to the end of the cave you would have to go through water about six inches deep. Well with the ice underneath the water had to have been close to the mid 30's in temperature. About 300 Yards into the cave we hit water.

Not about to get wet we took a few pictures and then drove home.

Over all we had a great time together and look forward to going back to the caves closer to the winter when the ice should be more solid.
Awesome! Heather and I thought it was a lot of fun to go there. I thought they were called the Civil Defense Caves and that the Ice Caves were totally different but, it looks like Ice Caves == Civil Defense Caves...

Ah. I had to look it up. I was getting "Ice Caves" confused with "Wind Caves".
