Monday July 20th both Julie and Tyson had the day off of work and chose to spend some time in the mountains. We drove up Mesa Falls and took some great pictures of the lower falls and then wanted to see what the upper falls looked like. Getting up there we found out that it was $5 to park in the parking lot. We were excited to see what must be so great as to charge people to park.
SO we get down there and were severely disappointed as it was just a water fall. After that bummer we asked the park lady if there were any trails to hike from the parking lot and she informed us that we could hike down to the Lower Falls
and even down to the bottom of it.
While hiking we came across what we thought was a gummy treat in this bush.
It was an actual berry stuck to the branch. It was a great hike and a wonderful day out in the great wilderness.
